Øyfjellgrotta Cave lie just across the river from the historic town and regional centre of Mosjøen. The cave is set in limestone and is five hundred metres deep. A tour of the cave can be taken with an experienced local guide. The tour takes around three to four hours. This fascinating experience is suitable for those who are prepared with stout footwear and expect somewhat challenging conditions.
