Vålandsskogen Forest lies near the centre of Stavanger, yet is a great place to enjoy nature. It lies close to the Mosvatnet Lake. It supports a wide range of bird life. In the forest you will find the Vålandstårn tower. This rises above the forest and gives you great views over the city and the surrounding countryside. There is a cafeteria here that is open during the summer months.
