Villa Grande lies about five kilometres from the city centre of Oslo, and is set amid attractive woodland near to the coast. It was the wartime residence of famous Nazi collaborator Vidkun Quisling. It now serves as the Centre for the study of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities. A permanent exhibition on the holocaust has been mounted here. The centre hosts conferences and special exhibitions. Villa Grande has an excellent cafe where you can enjoy drinks, snacks, and light meals of high quality.
