Vigeland Museum lies just south of Frogner Park, about a mile north of Oslo city centre. It is housed in one of the finest neo classical buildings in Norway. This was once the home of renowned sculptor Gustav Vigelund. The museum contains many examples of Vigelund’s work, including sketches and plaster models which help to illustrate his working proicess. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions of contemporary and modern art. The museum has a shop. Guided tours are possible by arrangement.
