Vettfjellet is a small mountain in the Alstahaug region. Its summit is 244 metres above sea level. It was a traditional area for lighting beacons to warn of the approach of enemies. Today there are several hiking trails that lead you to the top. From here there are magnificent views of the shipping lanes and of the archipelago beyond Søvik.
