Varden is a high point, more than four hundred metres above sea level, not far from Molde town centre. It can be reached on foot or by car. Varden gives a great view over the city, the sea, and of the two hundred or so snow-capped peaks in the area. At Varden you will find the "Vardestua" restaurant where you can get drinks and meals. There are marked trails from here if you wish to further explore the mountainous terrain.
