The Valhall Adventure centre is located on the sparsely populated and beautiful island of Krottøy, to the north of Harstad. There are regular boats to the island. There are numerous opportunities for outdoor activities on the island and its neighbour Meløyvær including deep sea rafting, fishing, sightseeing, birdwatching and hiking. There are also some good beaches. Boats can be rented here. Accommodation is offered. This is a perfect place to experience the Northern Lights or the Midnight Sun, depending on the season.
