Valdres Alpine Centre lies just north of Aurdal, near Fagernes in Eastern Norway. It is a popular winter sport location, and there is plenty of accommodation here. The alpine skiing area includes ten pistes and a children’s area. There is a snowboarding park which is preferred by some of the top snowboarders. There are more than one hundred and twenty metres of prepared cross country tracks in the area.
