Uthaug is an attractive coastal village with a population of about three hundred. It lies in Ørland, South Trøndelag, and has plenty to attract the visitor. The charming main street is lined with nineteenth century buildings. At the harbour you will find a boathouse museum with a collection of traditional fishing equipment. There is a fine view out to Kjeungskjær lighthouse from here. Uthaug Farm lies in the centre of the village. The building dates to the eighteenth century and has a fine collection of furniture and textiles.
