Lying in the centre of Drammen on the riverbank, Union Scene is the new, state-of-the-art centre for culture and the arts. It has an large and small auditoriums which host a wide range of musical performances. The genres represented iunclude jazz and blues, ethnic music, rock and choral music. The centre is envisaged as a showcase for multicultural events, reflecting the growing diversity of the city’s population. There is a cafe leading down to the waterfront.
