Ullensvang Church benefits from a beautiful fjord-side location. It is just south of Lofthus. The church is built in stone and dates back to the thirteenth century. Much of the architecture is Gothic. The church was substantially extended in the nineteenth century, when the tower was built. The stained glass is by the painter B. Greve. The medieval churchyard contains many interesting old graves. The church is often used as a venue for concerts owing to its fine acoustics.
