The lovely Trondenes Church lies about three kilometres from Harstad town centre, near the new History Centre. It is set in a idyliic location by the coast, from where you can get great views of the Trondenes peninsular. The church is northernmost medieval stone church in the world. It dates back to the thirteenth century. The interior contains many priceless treasures that will interest the visitor.
