Tromsø Kunstforening (Tromsø Gallery for Conemporary Art) was founded in 1924 and was soon established as one of the leading exhibitors of contemporary art in the country. It mounts several exhibitions every year which represent artists working in a number of different media from both Norway and abroad. The gallery’s total floor space is more than five hundred square metres. There is a shop and cafeteria.
