Tinn Museum is located in Rjukan. The museum’s exhibitions deal with the development of the traditional farming communities in the region. A permanent exhibition shows the history of building in the area from the late medieval period to the end of the nineteenth century. The museum holds a collection of artefacts recovered locally that go back to the Viking period. You will also find a textile collection and furniture made in the area. Guided tours are conducted throughout the summer.
