The cable car departs from just across the bridge from Tromsø city centre, in the Tromsdalen district. The cable car is one of the city’s most popular attraction and takes you on a journey to the top of the Storsteinen mountain, and a viewing point more than four hundred metres above sea level. From here there are great views of the sea, the mountains and the city. There is a restaurant and cafe at the summit, together with an indoor and outdoor children’s playground.
