Storgata is the main street that lies in the heart of the Olympic town of Lillehammer. The street is world famous and has won several awards. The pedestrianised street is home to a range of attractive shops, some long established. It is characterised by low wooden buildings. There are plenty of pavement cafes, with heaters in the winter, where you can stop and watch the world go by. It is the home of a charming and traditional Christmas market in the run up to the festive season.
