The Stordal Alpine centre lies about fifteen kilometres to the east of the village and offers a range of skiing facilities during the winter months. The slopes are designed to suit skiers of all abilities, from small children to experienced enthusiasts. The centre is also a popular base for hanggliders and paragliders. Other activities, such as climbing and ice fishing, are also popular here.
