The Stavanger Botanical Gardens are a popular attraction that lie to the south and west of the city centre. They are open all year round and contain a fascinating variety of plant life that originates from many different parts of the world. There is a herb garden here, a perennial garden and a wild rose garden. There is a picnic area. During the summer season you will also find a cafe where you can buy drinks and snacks.
