If you wish to go pony trekking or horse riding you can enjoy these activities during the summer season at Hove camp, a popular leisure and recreation area with a nice beach. It is situated on an island, Tromøy, which lies to the south of Arendal that is linked by road. Stall Siring offers ponies for hire and has a riding school in the summer season. During the winter you may rent a horse from the stables in Brekka in order to explore the southern forests.
