St. Hallvard’s fountain lies at the heart of Bragernes Torg, the largest public square in the whole of Scandinavia, which forms the natural meeting place for those visiting the city. The fountain is dedicated to a locally-honoured saint. It is surrounded by seating where you can relax and enjoy public concerts that take place here during the summer months or take a break from shopping at the market stalls that often throng the area.
