Sørlandets Kunstmuseum is an art gallery that lies in the heart of the southern coastal town of Kristiansand. It was founded as an institution in 1995, and moved to its present site in 2000. Its permanent collection is based around the city art collection which has a strong regional influence and covers the period from 1800 to the present day. The gallery also hosts temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. It has a cafe that offers free wireless internet access.
