Sola Beach is one of several excellent spots for sunbathing and swimming along the west coast of the Stavanger region. This beach is located close to Stavanger Sola airport. It is over two kilometres long, quite wide, and sheltered by sand dunes. There is parking at the south end of the beach and at the Strand Hotel, which overlooks the beach. There is a links style golf course nearby.
