The Sogn and Førde Art Museum was established in a new building in the year 2000. It carries a representative collection of art owned by the municipality. It also hosts a range of changing temporary exhibitions throughout the year. These are of the highest quality and represent both Norwegian and foreign artists and movements. The museum has a shop.
