Sogn Fjord Museum lies just to the west of Kaupanger. It contains a range of exhibits designed to inform the visitor about all aspects of fjord life and culture. The museum has one of the finest collection of traditional boats in the country. There is also a reconstructed boatbuilder’s workshop here. The museum has collections of fishing equipment and items connected with fjord life.
