The Coastal Museum for Sogn and Fjordane lies in Florø, the main settlement of Flora municipality. It is sited about twenty metres walk from the centre. Established in 1980, it was established to inform visitors about the culture and natural history of the area. Various buildings from around the region have been erected at the site. There are many beautiful boats on display here, including a two hundred and fifty year old coastal freighter. There is also an exhibition about North Sea Oil.
