Søndre Aas Farm lies a few kilometres to the south of Oslo city centre. The estate was purchased by the Oslo municipality in the 1970s and turned into a working farm and visitor attraction. There are many domestic animals here including horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, geese, peacocks, dogs and cats. Carefully supervised horseriding lessons are offered to all ages from the very youngest children. This is a lovely place to enjoy nature and perhaps a picnic.
