Skoger Old Church lies in the countryside outside Drammen, a few kilometres to the south near the village of Skogen. It is the only medieval church in the municipality and is also the oldest intact building. The church, which is built of stone, is believed to have been founded in the lat twelfth century. It has undergone considerable alteration and restoration over the years. It is used as a venue for concerts and for special events such as those connected with Saint Olav’s Day.
