Skjeggedal is a valley in Odda municipality. the valley has lots to offer the visitor. There are fine views and lakes full of fish. Hikers benefit from plenty of marked footpaths. You can admire Ringedalsdammen, an enormous stone dam constructed in a style reminiscent of medieval castles. Other attractions include the early twentieth century Tysso hydroelectic power plant and the Mågelibanen funicular railway, which offers panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
