Skien Fritidspark lies just to the south of the town centre and is one of Norway’s largest and most impressive leisure facilities. It is centred around a modern leisure pool. Among the facilities are a frisbee golf course, two indoor ice rinks, an outdoor ice rink, an artificial grass pitch, outdoor tennis courts, a full-size sports hall, a snowboarding slope, cross country skiing and walking tracks in the woods, a BMX track, beach volleyball courts, a playground and a youth hostel.
