The Skaidi resort is one of the leading locations for outdoor activities in Finnmark. It is located about sixty kilometres south of Hammerfest and is also within driving distance of Alta. The resort has a ski centre with four slopes, two lifts and facilities for children. Many activities are offered here during the summer including salmon fishing, hunting and walking. Various sorts of accommodation are available and there are shops here together with a cafe and a bar. During the winter you can hire snowmobiles and cross country skiing equipment.
