Sjøgata is the main street of the historic town of Mosjøen. It is located by the waterside. Many of the nineteenth century buildings have been lovingly restored, giving you a flavour of the town when it became a prosperous centre for the timber trade and other commerce. Vefsn museum is located on the street, and incorporates the Jacobsenbrygga warehouse. There are interesting and attractive shops and cafes on the street.
