The Sima Power Plant is one of the largest hydroelectric power stations in Europe. It is located in Eidfjord municipality, in beautiful south west Norway. The main hall of the power station is found tunnelled into the mountainside. Guided tours of this impressive space are conducted at regular times during the summer months, and all year round for groups by arrangement. The tours include a one hour film about the construction of the power station.
