Søgne Church is one of the main attractions of the area. It is the oldest half timbered church in Norway. The church was built in 1640. Its interior is noted for its fine Renaissance and Baroque paintings and furniture. The altarpiece is from 1665. The church has been extensively and sympathetically restored. Guided tours are conducted during the summer months. The church is a venue for classical music concerts.
