Seiland National Park covers the two large islands of Seiland and Sorøya, two of the largest unspoilt wildernesses of Finnmark, and is divided between the municipalities of Hammerfest, Alta and Kvalsund. Seiland is an island of mountainous peaks, many of which are more than 800 metres above sea levels. You will also find glaciers here, including the northernmost in Norway, Seilandsjøkulen. The flora and fauna include the Stjerneøy poppy and the Ger falcon. Reindeer husbandry and sheep farming take place within the boundaries of the park.
