Sandefjord Whaling Museum

Sandefjord Whaling Museum is the only museum in Europe dedicated to whales and whaling. The museum houses a collection of stuffed animals from the Arctic and Antarctic regions. A major attraction is the complete skeleton of a blue whale. The main exhibition details the history of whaling through time and in different cultures and localities. A film room shows films on a continuous loop. Special activities are laid on for children. Guided tours are available. There is a shop selling souvenirs.
