Ryvarden Lighthouse lies on a coastal headland that juts into the sea. It is located in Sveio municipality, between Haugesund and Bergen. The lighthouse was built in 1849. In recent years it has been fully automated, which allows the lighthouse and its service buildings to be used as museum and cultural centre. There are fabulous views from the top. You will also find an art gallery and cafe here . It is possible to stay overnight.
