Rustkammeret means the "The Armoury". It lies in central Trondheim. It is one of the oldest museums in Norway. It contains the finest collections of edged weapons such as swords, daggers and battleaxes in the country. The museum also contains displays taking you on a journey through Norway’s military history from Viking times until the present day. There is an extensive exhibition on the activities of the resistance during World War II. Guided tours are available. There is a museum shop. The museum is suitable for disabled visitors.
