Rugsund Church lies to the north of the old trading post of Rugsund, which is in Bremanger municipality. The church is renowned as one of the most beautiful in the region. It was built in the 1930s and has a richly decorated interior, replete with wall paintings, mosaics, and carving. The church was designed by Hans Ditlev F. Linstow, who was also responsible for the Royal Norwegian Castle.
