Where better to locate the headquarters of the Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society than in one of the world’s northernmost towns? The society hosts an exhibition of stuffed animals including seals, puffins, polar bears, lynx and wolves, celebrating Norway’s hunting tradition. Visitors may join the world famous Polar Bear Society here - the only membership requirement is that you have visited Hammerfest and paid the fee.
