The Romsdal Museum lies in the heart of the town of Molde. It is one of the largest folk museums in the country. It was established in 1912. More than fifty buildings have been moved to the site and rebuilt. Various types of farm buildings from all over the region can be seen, along with a small chapel and a cafe where you can enjoy a drink or snack. Domestic animals are kept on site. Folk dancing demonstrations are often held here.
