The Rogaland Theatre lies in the heart of Stavanger. It is one of Norway’s leading theatres, and employs a large staff, including a company of around two dozen actors. It was founded more than sixty years ago. It has four auditoria which stage different sorts of productions. It was one of the first venues to commission works by Norwegian playwright Jan Fosse. Its varied repertoire includes national and international works.
