The Norwegian Rock Blasting Museum lies about twelve kilometres north of the centre of Lillehammer, near to the Hundefossen Family Park. It is situated opposite the Norwegian Roads Museum and is located in a mountain tunnel. The two hundred and forty metre long passage contains extensive exhibitions on the techniques that have been developed through the ages to cut passageways through the particularly hard species of stone found in the kingdom.
