Roan Church lies in the heart of the little village. It is known as the "Cathedral of Fosen" and no trip to the area would be complete without seeing it. It was built in 1702. It is built of stone. The interior contains much to interest visitors. The altarpiece, the pulpit and some of the epitaphs are extremely old, and very beautiful. The church serves a reformed Lutheran congregation.
