Rissa Church lies in Fosen, in South Trøndelag. It is the principal church in the area. The church was designed by the architect Carl J. Bergstrom, and completed in 1888. It is built of stone and has an imposing tower and spire. It replaced an older church that was on the same site. Parts of the old church are incorporated into the current building.
