At Reins Kloster you will find the remains of a convent that dates back to the thirteenth century. It is the oldest building in the district. For three hundred years, until the reformation, this was an important religious and cultural centre. Nowadays, an area with nature trails has been built up in the area, and the old church rebuilt. You will also find the Rissa Rural Museum and dairy museum here.
