Raumabanen Railway runs from Åndalsnes to Dombås, and is 114 kilometres long. Built in 1924, it passes through some of the most spectacular scenery in Norway. You can see some of the most stunning sights from the trains’ panoramic windows, including the Trollveggen and the Kylling Bridge. The trains run especially slowly at some of the most scenic points and commentary is given in several languages, including English. A trip on Raumabanen is an essential and unforgettable experience if you are visitng the area.
