The Rana Museum Cultural History department is located in Museumgården in the centre of Mo. The exhibitions focus on the cultural history of Mo, Rana and Helgeland. A permanent exhibition deals with Mo in the twentieth century and includes a scale model of the town between the World Wars. Another room recreates the living conditions of the middle classes in yesteryear. There are reconstructions of an old dentist surgery and general store. Temporary exibitions are hosted, which include art exhibitions. Staff can give guided tours in English upon request.
