The Petter Dass Museum is located in Alstahaug municipality, near to Alstahaug Church, where the poet and clergyman served. The museum gives you an insight into how he would have lived. The museum is made up of a main building, a storehouse, a cookhouse, a well, and a chapel. On the quayside you will find a warehouse where boats and equipment are on display. Guided tours are available during the summer months.
