Perspectivet Museum lies in the heart of Tromsø. It is housed in the old house of writer Cora Sandel. The building dates from 1838. The museum is home to temporary exhibitions of a high standard about various aspects of the social and cultural development of the Tromsø and Norway. It also hosts a wide variety of travelling exhibitions from further afield. It has a cafeteria and gift shop.
