The Paulus Church is located on Thorvald Meyers gate, which is about a mile north of Oslo city centre. It lies near the Birkelunden park. The church was built in the late nineteenth century and consecrated in 1892. It is in a neo Gothic style. The architect was Henrik Bull. In order to fit in with the layout of Birkelunden Park, the church has an entrance to the east. The interior features an elaborate altarpiece which holds beautiful oil paintings.
